The position in discussion is with the SUT Compliance team in Indirect Tax Service line at KPMG Global Services (KGS). This role is an integral part of the firm%26rsquo;s strategy to enhance innovation, build scalability, and improve profitability, globally.:
Assisting with various state and local indirect tax compliance projects
Performing a detailed technical review of state and local indirect tax returns on engagements.
Research tax issues and work on special projects when required
Assisting with engagement workflow management and supervising tax consultants on assigned engagements.
Identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency and streamline work flow.
Assisting with resolution of indirect tax notices from state and local jurisdictions
Assisting with preparation of client billings and account reconciliations.
Assisting with drafting new proposals for new and existing clients.
Job Requirements Qualifications
Minimum master%26rsquo;s degree from reputable universities with excellent academic result, majoring in Accounting or Finance
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software programs, including spreadsheet programs (i.e. Excel).
Minimum 1/2 years of experience in account reconciliation is must.
Understanding of indirect taxes, 2 %26ndash; 4 years of experience in Indirect Taxation
