In this role, you’ll focus on indirect tax compliances (VAT, GST), tax accounting and related advisory for the EMEA region. Using your knowledge of payments and filing of indirect tax returns related to the EMEA region and your deep understanding of its preparation, you’ll be responsible for the tax related balance sheet reconciliations, tax registrations, preparation of insurance premium tax return and research on tax applicability on goods/services as per indirect tax laws in EMEA.
To be successful in this role, you’ll have a professional qualification of either graduate or semi qualified CA with 1-3 years of experience. In addition, you’ll bring good working knowledge of accounting standards and indirect tax concepts. Finance or taxation experiences within a shared services environment or financial services, with previous exposure to International Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS) as well as indirect tax compliances within EMEA is an added advantage, but not essential.
