The Project & Change team within at Macquarie is entrusted with the responsibility of running mandatory finance projects that are driven by the demand of the regional regulators and involves changes in the process and system architecture.
Data under Governance (DuG) is one of the key ways in which we reduce our data risk. As DuG co-ordinator you will be responsible for taking all the Critical Data Elements (CDEs) through the DuG lifecycle, producing relevant project artefacts and managing the DuG work across the pipeline of significant change initiatives. To develop project documents you’ll also partner closely with the project manager and the work stream leads, the project Business Analyst, the Group Data Office, Corporate Data, Systems and Finance Operational Risk Mangement team. You’ll also be expected to provide accurate and timely updates to all stakeholders and highlight risks/issues while also working closely with the project Business Analyst and Corporate Data team to ensure artefacts are in line with expectation of the stakeholders.
To be successful in this role you’ll demonstrate resilience and the ability to effectively manage ambiguity and multiple stakeholders, along with an ability to drive decisions and mitigate risk to the committed timelines. You’ll demonstrate effective presentation skills, strong facilitation, oral and written communication skills and a proactive approach to anticipating client needs, issues and challenges where you look at ways for resolving them promptly. You should also have strong documentation skills with the ability to produce fit for purpose project artefacts in accordance with project governance.
