We are currently seeking an SAP FICO Systems/Functional Analyst to join our Product Operations Center of Excellence (PROCOE) team. No relocation is being offered for this position. The candidate will be based at any Eaton facility in the US. If the candidate resides within 50 miles of Beachwood, Ohio, the candidate must work at that site. If the candidate resides more than 50 miles away from Beachwood, Ohio, the candidate will work from a remote Eaton facility or an approved home office.
The SAP FICO Systems/Functional Analyst will design, model, configure, and implement SAP FICO and process solutions to meet desired financial business requirements. This analyst will analyze business processes and systems processes & recommend improvements that use standard the Eaton SAP deployment model and processes. Participate in SAP implementations at an expert level while also often directing more junior level team members. In addition, this SAP FICO Systems/Develops, demonstrates, trains, and drives regional or global SAP solutions. Implements controls that are fully auditable and compliant with business and regulatory standards

  • You will be responsible for in-depth functional & business process knowledge of SAP FICO target application – showing global leadership
  • You will work in partnership with global financial decision makers and business process owners on SAP system requirements, processes, and systems.
  • You will manage requirements in line with global templates and guidelines. Ensure that solutions are for the benefit of all users, sites, divisions and regions.
  • You will own the set-up and governance of consolidated, worldwide target processes for SAP FICO.
  • You will demonstrate very strong analytical skills, to critically evaluate the information gathered from multiple sources and regions, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a more general understanding, distinguish presented user requests from the underlying true needs, and distinguish solution ideas from requirements.
  • You will apply governance processes to the change control, system development life cycle and ensure that necessary regression testing is delivered to ensure system integrity.
  • You will support end to end processes and has a strong level understanding of system touch points.
  • You will apply the global governance to ensure proposed solutions are in-line global solutions.
  • You will participate in global business process improvement committees as needed.
  • You will demonstrate strong communication skills – able to interact with senior level leaders at a global level. Able to explain complex system issues and decision points using common business language (without using IT terms and language).

  • You will be responsible for learning system touchpoints in order to integrate Eaton’s other key financial platforms into SAP ECC including, but not limited to platforms such Getpaid, Quantum, Thomas Reuters, Oracle EPM cloud products (FCCS, ARCS), CoProcess, etc.. Support end-to-end processes based on advanced level understanding of system touch points.
  • You will support business processes and solutions in the areas of Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Costing, and Tax/Local Statutory Compliance

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required
  • Minimum 7 years of enterprise IT experience is required
  • Candidate must be authorized to work in the US on a continuous basis without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Expert level of system expertise – Fully demonstrated across many full-life cycle projects.
  • Advanced knowledge of functional and technical capability including understanding of the core programming and database.
  • FICO integration with process modules including Materials Management (MM), Accounts Payable (AP), and Sales Distribution (SD).
  • SAP ECC and S/4Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws
  • Bachelors or Master’s degree in a technical discipline such as: B.S. Comp Science / Mathematics / Engineering

Eaton provides a competitive total rewards package commensurate with applicable skills, knowledge, and experience and consistent with internal and external market practices. The annual salary range for this role is $106,900 – $189,500 a year, with flexibility based on experience and skill level.
