We are looking for SAP BO Admin Linux for one of our MNC Clients in Chennai
Notice Period – Less than 15 days (Mandatory)
Strong BI 4.2 Administration skills like:
– Ability to manage SAP BI 4.2 Upgrade and day to day admin tasks
– Installing SAP Business Objects version 4.2 on Linux
– Very good hands on Linux OS
– Administration of software products like Tomcat, and IIS (Clustered and Standalone environments)
– Effective administration and supervision of Business Objects environment by monitoring/granting permissions and rights to users for viewing, creating and publishing reports
– Configuring LDAP, Windows AD and SAP authentication
– Migrating contents from SAP Business objects 4.1 SP6 patch 1 to 4.2 SP5 using Upgrade management and promotion management tool
– Performance tuning the Job servers, web-application servers, and scaling the SAP Business Objects Product
– Defining the security for end user as per their requirement.
– Working extensively on REDSHIFT, Oracle, MS SQL Server and DB2 database.
– Performing server checkout whenever Non-SAP application patches are updated.
– Reporting product related defects with SAP and working with SAP Team to resolve it for end user.
– Monitoring end user issue and providing the resolution through JIRA Tool / SERVCE NOW
– Providing end to end support for new on-boarding application in SAP Business Objects for the end user
– 2-3 years’ experience with AWS architecture (good to have)
– Understanding of database architecture, query optimization, advanced analytics features, with experience in writing PL/SQL and stored procedures
– Understanding of the Agile Software Development Life Cycle as it pertains to Data Warehousing / Business Intelligence.
– Experience working collaboratively with business and technical team members, while possessing outstanding written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
– Strong attention to detail with ability to multi-task on several projects and overcome challenges
