Nationality

Educational Qualification
Candidates require a Bachelor’s degree in any field to apply for this post. Appearing or final-year candidates are not eligible.
- The minimum qualification required is a Graduate degree from a recognized university.
- Those awaiting the results of their final examination should NOT apply.
- The educational qualification required should be obtained on or before 14 May 2024.
Age Limit
RPF SI 2024 Notification has specified the age limit on 01 July 2024 as 20 to 28 years. Certain eligible candidates can also avail of age relaxation in the upper age limit.

Physical Standards Required for Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
The Physical Measurement Test (PMT) will be conducted to check the health, preparedness, and suitability of the candidates for the post of Sub-Inspectors. The Physical Standards required for this post include height (for all) and chest size (for males only).
Relaxation in the Physical Standards is provided to certain categories of candidates including Females, EWS, OBC, SC, and ST. The other groups like Garhwalis, Gorkhas, Marathas, Dogras, Kumaonese and Others specified by the Govt are given relatively more relaxation in Physical Standards due to their adeptness in certain regions of India.
