Short Description
The RPA support developer will provide support and maintenance to Robotics Process Automation (RPA) applications, primarily on UiPath and Pega/OpenSpan platforms. They will be part of production support team in a customer (internally) facing role. Ideal candidate will also work on performance and optimization and maintenance by following defined operational procedures as required.
Engagement & Project Overview
The selected candidate will be part of a RPA Support Team function, providing ongoing support and maintenance for projects developed by global RPA team.
Primary Responsibilities
∙ Monitor RPA processes to ensure successful execution as per defined schedules
∙ Monitor Termination / Failure of Bots and take corrective actions
∙ Restart Bot based on the Handbook / Manual
∙ Perform fixes and enhancements
∙ Triage or escalate alerts from monitoring applications
∙ Raise incident for abnormal Termination / Failure & follow up till closure
∙ Initiate and Support war room situations
∙ Manage multiple Bots based on the processing volumes and increase the availability for effective utilization of Bots
∙ Report metrics and analysis as per defined frequency
∙ Periodic health check of robotic resources
∙ Incident/outage/change/problem management
∙ Participate in operational continuous improvement
∙ Coordinate with respective business application teams to get the bot working to its expectation
∙ Coordinate with Network, security and other technology teams as required.
Participate in situation monitoring calls and Patch maintenance routines
Available on-call support
Must Have Skills
∙ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or Information Technology
∙ 2+ years of development experience on .Net platform with C# and fair understating on SOA architecture & RDBMS concepts
∙ 1+ years of experience in developing and maintaining RPA projects using UiPath
∙ Willing to work in 24×7 environment
∙ Willing to support during extended IST hours / US business hours
∙ Strong written and verbal communication skills
∙ General knowledge of SQL server 2008 and above
∙ Familiarity with SQL interface like SQL Management Studio; Exposure to integrated tool like SSIS and SSRS
∙ Able to write medium complexity SQL queries (using joins and aggregate functions), functions and procedures, running pre-defined scripts, and interpreting logs and traces
Nice To Have Skills
∙ Windows server experience for deploying the application
∙ Demonstrate knowledge of Windows 2008 O/S and Server 2012 R2
∙ Exposure of troubleshooting tools and techniques related to networks and systems, e.g. remote access etc. will be advantage
∙ General understanding of IT security concepts as they relate to production environment
∙ Continuous development and integration with Git will be advantage
∙ Exposure of Powershell, Unix Shell Script and Python will be advantage
∙ Good understanding of SDLC process. Working in Agile SCRUM preferred
∙ Able to address issues & understand solutions in code walk through and design reviews
