Position Overview:
The offshore team to assist with the following actions:
• Provide support for the Accounting and Finance Teams; include Month End, Year End closes and Annual Budget
process.
• Perform configuration maintenance requests in a variety of systems: JDE, PeopleSoft HR, FS, Hyperion, Randstad
Front Office and Spherion Front Office.
• Perform hierarchy maintenance in all financial systems.
• Perform data validation and compliance processes as scheduled.
• Adhoc problem resolution as needed.
• Regularly review existing processes for process improvements.
• Support Accounting and Finance Teams in Monthly close cycles and annual Budgeting 30%
• Process system configuration hierarchy maintenance 45%
• Process data integration compliance validations 2%
• Provide nonstandard work hours support as required 2%
• Adhoc problem resolution 16%
• Review existing processes then develop and recommend process improvements 5%
Report to: Team Lead or above (as per business needs)
The success of the role will be driven by:
● Clarity of work and training provided to the offshore team
● Quality and timeliness of feedback especially during ramp-up
● Regular review of the effort and outcomes between onshore and offshore teams
● In addition to training, job aids to assist offshore team
● The inclusion of the offshore team in daily huddles and regular communication
Shift: During Training: 6:30 pm to 3:30 pm IST and it would change to 3pm to 12 pm IST once training is completed
Education & Qualifications (Required and Preferred):
● Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (Accounting, Finance) or Technology (Computer Science)
● Strong ability to understand finance and accounting principles
● Expert level proficiency with Microsoft Excel
● Knowledge in PeopleSoft, JDE, and Hyperion a plus
