RAC DRDO Recruitment 2023: Recruitment and Assessment Centre (RAC) has released the notification for the RAC DRDO Recruitment 2023 for 51 posts of scientist in DRDS cadre of DRDO (Defence Research & Development Organization). RAC invites online application through their official website @rac.gov.in under the Advertisement No. 147 of Lateral Recruitment Scheme. According to the notification released by RAC (Recruitment and Assessment Centre), eligible candidates will apply for the online registration of Scientist post from 21st October to 17th November 2023. Through this recruitment, Group ‘A’ Scientist will be recruited by DRDO. DRDO employs highly qualified and competent Scientists and Technologies in Group ‘A’ Technical Service known as Defence Research & Development Service (DRDS).
RAC DRDO Recruitment 2023: Overview
Every year RAC recruits Scientist in DRDO mostly at entry level (Scientist ‘B’). However, it depending on the recruitments in specialized areas of research and development ,a limit number of scientists are also recruited in higher grades (Scientist ‘C’ to Scientist ‘H’). RAC released the notification for the recruitment against 51 vacancies of DRDO CSPTAM 11 Scientist in their official website released on 13th October 2023. RAC DRDO 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit for RAC DRDO Scientist 2023
- The age limit for Scientist ‘C’ should not be more than 35 years.
- Age limit for Scientist ‘D’ and ‘E’ should not be more than 45 years.
- Age limit for Scientist ‘F’ should not be more than 50 years.
- The upper age relaxation will be given to SC/ST up to 5 years.
- Upper age relaxation for OBC will be 3 years.
- Relaxation of age for candidates in regular service of Central/Union Territory is as per the rules.
- The persons with disability in identical disciplines whether the posts are reserved for them or not, they get the upper age relaxation of 5 years.
Educational Qualifications for RAC DRDO Scientist 2023
- First class Master’s Degree in Science Subjects, Mathematics or Psychology or First class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology or Metallurgy from a recognized University or equivalent.
- Experience of at least 3 years for Scientist ‘C’.
- Experience of at least 7 years for Scientist ‘D’.
- 10 years experience will be required for Scientist ‘E’.
- 13 years experience will be required for Scientist ‘F’.
- All the above experience will be required in research/design/development or production in the required area.
Desirable Qualifications
- Knowledge of Chinese, French, German, Japanese or Russian.
- Doctor’s degree in Science, Mathematics or Psychology or Metallurgy in the subject concerned (applicable for Scientist ‘C’ & above).
