– We are looking for a Mid-to-Senior Python Developer to build functional and efficient client and server-side applications.
– Mid-to-Senior Python Developer responsibilities include participating in all phases of the software development lifecycle and coaching junior developers. If you’re a seasoned developer with a love for back-end technologies, we’d like to meet you.
– Ultimate goal is to create high-quality microservices and products to meet our customer needs.
Responsibilities
– Help design and implement functional requirements
– Build efficient back-end features in Python
– Integrate front-end components into applications
– Manage testing and bug fixes
– Prepare technical documentation
– Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement design into the code
– Coach junior team members
– Implement software enhancements and suggest improvements
– Migration from current Internet to Phase 1 & Phase 2 to Equinix connectivity
– Develop, Implement, and maintain new functionality for F5 ASM and AFM to roughly 500 builds.
– SSL cert renewals – includes renewing cert in Venafi, downloading to F5s, and then deleting old
cert/key from F5s & Venafi
Auto-decay to remove all infrastructure components for builds no longer receiving traffic after X amount of days.
Requirements
– Solid experience as Python Developer
– Experience with Python frameworks (e.g. Django, Flask, Jinja2)
– Familiarity with REST API, SSH
– Understanding of databases and MongoDB
– Networking Knowledge a plus as this is primarily for Network Automation
– Attention to detail
– Leadership skills
– BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
Location: Phoenix highly preferred
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 6 to 12 months
Conversion: Potentially down the road
