As a QA Engineer, you’ll be responsible for
Developing automation scripts using python/selenium/bash scripting, integrate with Automation Framework for critical backend server components and UI based application components
Automate UI test cases, functional test cases, Integration test cases, performance & load test cases
Develop scripts which would generate various types of test-data depending on the components
Develop scripts which would be used generate large set test-data to populate database, feed as input to performance / load testing scripts
Develop shell scripts / bash scripts / power shell scripts for various quality engineering testing needs
Develop bootstrap scripts using Python for installation & configuration of test automation framework to various environments (like Windows, Linux (Ubuntu, RHEL, CentOS etc.)
Work Engineering team, Quality Engineering team, Pen-Testing security team to develop scripts as per the requirements of their functional / non-functional area.
Manual functional testing of new features.
