One of the worlds largest providers of products and services to the energy industry has a need to develop and support cloud-based enterprise information system in Oil & Gas domain.
Our project is stable, long-term and constantly adopts new technologies.
DevOps practice is tasked with the development, provisioning, operations, and performance of a global, multi-region, multi-cloud software as a service, and developer integration platform.
Work supposes close cooperation with Customer team located in Houston and following Agile principles.
Our team is senior, supportive and friendly.
Responsibilities
* Managing all aspects of an IT project, which includes project planning, execution, timing, quality, cost and early identification of potential issues / risks.
* Collaborate and align with the program managers and the client/stakeholder
* Ensuring requirements are effectively analysed, assigned and efficiently delivered
* Identify and manage stakeholders and clients, evaluate their interests and establish communication channels and collaboration
* Providing the clients / stakeholders with transparent, accurate and regular information regarding the project status
* Functional management of the project team in a matrix organization, ensuring efficient use of resources
* Hiring, retention and career development of your team members
Required Candidate profile
Skills
Must Agile Project Management, Communication Skills, Project Management
Knowledge in Windows and Linux-based operating systems
Experience working in, or alongside Security Operations teams
Experience working with standard capability maturity models
Solid understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall).
Ability to think critically and assess the needs of the organization for project prioritization.
Ability to multitask, ensuring that multiple initiatives are delivered in a timely manner
Knowledge of security and cloud services (Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
Rapidly adapt and respond to changes in environment and priorities.
Excellent listening, problem solving, management, and analytical skills.
Effective collaboration at all levels of an organization, across diverse cultural
Nice to have Exposure to work on cloud environment
