Job Description
Amazon’s Global Payroll team is looking for a Project Analyst – Payroll Ops to provide support for the evolving Payroll tools and systems.
The individual is required to be self-driven, and goal oriented with a focus in delivering business solutions that meets the users’ needs. The individual works with multiple functional teams through the various stages of a project & includes requirement gathering, creating pre-launch check list, compiling & reporting hyper care metrics and monitoring the Project key performance initiatives (KPI’s). Prepares and executes the test plan along with pre-requisites for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Performance Verification Testing (PVT).
The individual should have proven project management experience to own strategic, tactical, cross-functional and technological projects and programs. The PSA possesses Stakeholder management skill, and clearly communicates the testing insights to channelize the resources in achieving the desired results in the defined timelines. This role requires scoping and creating project plans, developing processes, coordinating launches, driving execution, and communicating to senior management on status, risks and process/product changes.
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Leads Project Support and provides end user insights on tools and systems
· Subject Matter Expert for customers, team, and product partners. POC for leadership and stakeholders
· Leads quality auditing of internal documentation of support processes
· Host focus groups with various roles and levels to create an engaging environment which fosters feedback and transparency with close loop communication by driving process improvement opportunities
· Ability to think outside the box, multi task and work well under pressure, to identify issues and work to resolve them in partnership with business leaders
· Demonstrated ability to perform well in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment
· Flexible, adaptable, proactive and self-motivated
· Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously and effectively and efficiently prioritize and meet deadlines.

Basic Qualifications :
Basic Qualification
· Ideal candidate should have 8+ years of experience with minimum 3 years in project management
· UAT, PVT experience and knowledge of different testing phases
· Experience identifying and resolving issues independently, would describe self as a troubleshooter
· Well-honed analytical skills, comfortable working with large amounts of data and communicating data findings, experience establishing and tracking program metrics including return on investment.
· Experience developing, improving and implementing processes in large-scale, complex environments.
· Consistent delivery on commitments – great organizational skills with exceptional follow through and attention to detail
· Ability to work in a highly ambiguous environment and interest in supporting a global team.
· Ability to handle responsibilities independently, while exercising good judgment in problem solving and keeping team members adequately informed.
· Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Preferred Qualifications :
Preferred Qualification
· Systems support experience, previous participation in system testing and system implementation activities a plus
· Knowledge of Payroll, PeopleSoft or other ERP system experience – HR, digital document management, or timekeeping system background is a plus
· Certification in PMP or Six Sigma
· MBA desirable
