Job Level: Professional 2 for Leasing CoE
Shift Timings: 12.00pm to 9.30pm
Overview of the process
The position will report to Leasing CoE. The Accountant should be an individual contributor and hands on in the various ERP systems and processes. He should be a self-starter and can be able to handle the complex accounting environment. A subject matter expert with the experience for the oversight of accounting and assurance activities, financial reporting, compliance and control environment. Experience in Lease accounting and working with global stakeholders will be preferred. Support in review of the P&L and Balance Sheet in order to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Specific deliverables:

  • Month End Close Support – ensure necessary lease accounting entries are uploaded in the books of accounts within the respective timelines.
  • Ensure all significant transactions are accurate and complete, prepare accounting adjustment entries as and when required.
  • Preparation and analysis of lease schedules/ templates designed as per applicable systems, policies and guidance and advice GL team to post any GL entries.
  • Overview of Balance sheet account reconciliation and monitoring controls
  • Understanding of various leasing accounting terminologies.
  • Ability to provide the first level explanations on accounting transactions against the queries received from various internal and external stakeholders
  • Transactional support/ contribute in SOX, audits conducted by internal and external auditors and coordinate in peer-to-peer audits

Qualification:

  • Chartered Accountant – with 2 to 5 years of experience
  • CA Inter/ ICWA Inter – with 5 to 9 years of experience

Skill Sets:

  • Strong Accounting process knowledges specifically in leasing transactions, overheads, payables, treasury, receivables, fixed Assets
  • Ability to manage stakeholders and collaborate with cross- functional teams
  • Ability to see the big picture while focusing on the process and procedures necessary to produce deliverables.
