The Role Responsibilities
We are currently looking for a talented, experienced, and passionate product owner within the Enterprise Monitoring team who can help drive our global Enterprise Monitoring Transformation program and strategy. The role holder is accountable for defining %26amp; owning the product roadmap for new monitoring platform %26amp; work closely with Scrum master %26amp; Development/QA teams to deliver this roadmap.

  • The candidate will be responsible for creating and owning the product vision for the new monitoring platform being developed by the bank (as Product Owner).
  • The Product Owner will be responsible for owning the content and priority of the product backlog working closely with the SCRUM team, which would be responsible for delivering the backlog as part of Agile SCRUM%26rsquo;s.
  • Whilst part of a bigger team, the candidate would need to be self-sufficient and engage other teams to drive any projects forwards, ensure management are kept informed of any blockers or delays at the appropriate time.
  • The product owner will be responsible to/for:

    • Propose the objective of the Sprint in the Sprint planning
    • Optimize the value of the work the Development team performs
    • Clearly express the Product Backlog items
    • Provide answers to the queries of the Development team on Backlog items
    • Ensure the Dev team understands the items in the Product Backlog to the level needed
    • Track overall Product or Release progress
    • Be responsible for Product Backlog Refinement
    • Undertake reviews and provide approval/feedback for the items done by Dev team
    • Act as primary contact for new requirements and roadmap definition

  • The product owner will be responsible for managing Stakeholder expectations and will have to ensure that product vision is understood by stakeholders %26amp; the SCRUM team.
  • This candidate would be accountable to manage the end to end delivery, from capturing high level requirements from our customers, all the way through to handover of the finished solution to our production support team, working closely with other teams throughout to ensure there is a common view of the project.
  • As well as having a solid technical background, the candidate would need to work closely with internal teams and stakeholders and be able to present technical solutions to business challenges at various levels in the organisation. They would also be responsible to provide clear documentation and assistance to drive the delivery and adoption of the solutions.
  • Should have overall minimum of 10+ years of IT experience out of which 3+ years in product owner or product management roles.
  • Strong business analysis skills and deep knowledge of any enterprise monitoring platform for Infra/Application monitoring.
  • Create positive relationships with SCB Group Technology partners

  • The Enterprise Monitoring Product %26amp; Agile Delivery team is responsible for defining %26amp; delivering the monitoring strategy across the bank, covering all aspects of monitoring including infrastructure, networks and applications.

Qualification:

  • BE / B Tech/ MBA
  • Certified Scrum product owner (CSPO)

Experience:

  • Minimum of 10+ years of IT experience out of which 3+ years in product owner or product management experience in agile delivery teams
