• Technical Support for clients/customers: The Patch Management Administrator is expected to work within the confines of tools provided on the following systems.
o Windows Server Systems (2012 R2, 2016, 2019)
o Windows desktop operating systems (physical & virtual)
• System Support for clients/customers: Patch Management Administrator will be responsible for maintaining security patches across client systems and networks.
o Provide security and compliance patching
o Be accountable for patching Windows server & desktop operating systems
o Be accountable for failed deployments and remediation
o Conduct impact analysis on failed deployments
o Responsible for maintaining current vulnerability profiles for all client endpoints
o Responsible for reviewing manufacturer released patches and security notices
o Monitor the lifecycle of patch deployment, paying special attention to testing groups
o Adhere to procedures specific to managing patches across client systems, conduct risk analysis, and prioritize deployments based on criticality and follow-up on patch jobs.
o Review patching progress against client provided internal vulnerability scans
