Responsibilities: As a OSS Test Engineer, you will be responsible for Release Testing, Lab activities as well as defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards and maintaining technology resources related to OSS.
You will report directly to managers. Key responsibilities and duties include:
* Understand the Requirements of new features of Fault Management, Performance Management, Topology and other OSS-module;
* Develop the testcases as well as discuss with Development team for the new features;
* In Agile environment complete the testing as per the schedule with optimum quality;
* Support lab OSS-requirements time-to-time;
* Simulate the Production issue in lab to help in debugging purpose;
* Maintain all the testcases, test-result in repository in timely manner;
* Making sure the Release is bug-free from OSS-perspective;
* Attend daily DSM and discuss about the testing status;
* Take the ownership of the OSS-module from quality-perspective.
Required Qualifications
* 5-8 years of professional experience in OSS domain of Telecom;
* Overall knowledge of Telecom Network;
* Strong understanding of Performance Management , Fault Management, Topology of OSS-module;
* Hands-on experience with Nokia, Mavenir, Altiostar EMS;
* Worked in Agile SDLC methodology
* Good Understanding of Network-topology;
* Excellent QA experience in a fast-paced environment;
* Strong analytical skills for problem solving;
* Experience on EMS-OSS integration, KPI integration, KPI monitoring, Counter level validation with EMS data
* Experience on Fault Management – OSS alarm monitoring, EMS – OSS alarm integration – Testing, FM alarm testing – Nodes Required Skills
