Required Candidate profile
Sybase 5 to 8 Years Mumbai Sybase DBA L2 Level
* Min 5-8 years of experience in Oracle database administration in production environments on Solaris and Linux OS.
* Capable of performing Database Administration tasks independently in sybase 11.x, 12.x, 15.x, 16.x
* Sybase ASE DBA tasks of standalone and Clustered setup.
* Should have some exposure to process oriented working environment with good multitasking ability.
* Database Lifecycle Management – Database creation, setup & decommissioning.
* Database event/alert monitoring, space management, user management
* Database upgrades & migrations, cloning
* Database backup, restore & recovery using SQL Backtrack
* Diagnose and resolve performance, connectivity, security and database corruption issues in a critical production environment.
* Replication setup, maintain and troubleshoot
