Hands on experience in SAS programming (Minimum 4-5 years in SAS Development)
A) Maintaining existing code
B) Ad HOC reporting and supporting the reporting functions.
2) Experience in using various SAS report generating procedures such as: PROC REPORT, PROC FORMAT, PROC COMPARE, PROC EXPORT, PROC SQL, PROC FREQ, PROC MEANS, PROC TABLATE, PROC TRANSPOSE, PROC COPY, PROC SUMMARY, PROC IMPORT.
3) Experience in SAS/BASE, SAS/SQL, SAS/MACROS, SAS/GRAPH, SAS/ACCESS, SAS Information Map Studio , SAS/Web Report Studio, SAS/ENTERPRISE GUIDE, SAS/ENTERPRISE MINER.
4) Experience in Requirement gathering, analysis, planning, designing, coding and unit testing.
5) Should know how to extract data from a variety of operational data sources on multiple platforms and integrate the extracted data using SAS
6) Should have sound knowledge in SAS to read, write, import and export to another data file formats, including delimited files, Excel & MS Access tables.
7) Experience in extracting data from Oracle, SQL Server, MS Access Database & DB2
8) Experience in producing HTML, RTF, CSV and PDF formatted files using SAS/ODS.
Required Skills
Proficiency in SAS, Good Verbal and Written Communications, Advanced SAS programming Certification should be completed.
