Asset Management Responsibilities:
Hardware Asset Management:
∙ Deploy, track and manage asset movements within, and between the locations mentioned above.
∙ Create and maintain records of all TI owned assets located in any of the sites described above.
∙ Coordination and Movement of Assets to and from other locations as directed by Til.
∙ Maintain Asset Records pertaining to Installations, Movements, Allocations, and Changes (IMAC). Provide Reports to Til Management per provided formats and report cycle.
∙ Generate Daily, Weekly, and Monthly reports as per Til Requirements to document the Asset Team’s Activities.
∙ Provide Support to Til Teams for Customs/Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) Requirements (bonding, de-bonding, etc).
∙ Coordinating with the Site Security Team and follow site guidance for Asset Movement
∙ Work with other IT Support team members & Suppliers on Hardware Replacement
∙ Timely alerts (not less than 60-days) on expiry of AMC or Warranty of IT equipments to domain leader.
∙ First level Timely alerts (not less than gO-days) on TI Lease Expiration notifications to domain leader.
Spares Management
∙ . Supplier shall Arrange, Track, and Manage all spares in IT storage areas.
∙ Maintain and use the spares consumption trend data to forecast future spare requirements.
∙ Coordinate with vendors for replacement of spares (where required)
Track/Coordinate return of defective spares with vendors (Netapp and Cisco) Software Management A database of all licenses shall be maintained that includes all relevant information concerning the licenses (date of issue, period of validity, user to whom the license has been issued, etc.).
∙ Supplier shall also provide timely alerts for individual users and project groups when licenses are within 30-days of expiration.
∙ Asset Database
∙ Update new installations, moves, additions & changes in the TI Asset Management System (AMS)
∙ Active participation in AMS related projects.
∙ InteracUcoordinate with the TI WW Asset Management Team to ensure compliance with TI IT Guidelines
∙ Maintain local database on the asset management tool deployed at TI India. Note that TI India is in the process of converting to a new local asset tracking tool
∙ Provide periodic Asset report
∙ Quarterly audits to be conducted to verify data accuracy on the asset reports
Datacenter Management:
∙ Inventory of datacenter assets
∙ Movement of assets within datacenters
∙ Labeling/tracking of assets
∙ Quarterly/Annual audits
Bonding/Debonding of Assets:
∙ Trackingrrracing of bonded assets (datacenter + infrastructure)
∙ Identifying of unwanted assets and working with logistics to send out the assets to the e waste vendor.
Asset Management Responsibilities shall NOT include:
∙ Executing Til Personnel Exit Process
∙ Datacenter Asset Forecasting (excluding spares)
Tape Management Responsibilities:
∙ Tape Inventory Management:
∙ Til data tapes are stored at Til -onsite and offsite locations
∙ The supplier has to manage the tape inventory
∙ Segregation of tapes as per barcode labels, backup cycle date
∙ Supplier has to ensure that new tapes are labeled properly and the inventory is updated
∙ Loading/Unloading of tapes from Tape library
∙ Prepare tapes for racking/stacking/packing at Til -onsite and offsite facility
∙ Storage of data tapes in the designated tape room.
