Experience: 3-10 years
Responsibilities
• Hands on programming with Java/J2EE skills
• Work with Business Analyst to understand the requirements
• Perform analysis and provide design solutions for the given requirement
• Produce the technical deliverables with the required quality
• Build and automate testing
• Contribute on Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment.
• Troubleshoot problems and provide solutions
• Communicate with the users to determine problems or design requirements
• Document changes and follow the Systems Development Life Cycle process independently
• Willing to learn and adopted new technologies in short period of time as required by the Project
• Be part of agile team and work along to improve the velocity
• Build good knowledge of the product and demonstrate the value to client
• Be innovative in proposing/implementing new ideas/approaches that could help the delivery
• Agile learner to learn new technologies to quickly adopt to the changing environment.
Skill Requirements
• Should have 3-10 years of in developing Java, J2EE enterprise Applications
• Should have 1+ years of experience with JavaScript
• Strong experience on IBM WebSphere and IBM MQ
• Should have exposure with any Java Script Frameworks
• Should have demonstrable experience with Restful and SOAPbased web services, JSON and XML
• Should have sound knowledge in Oracle SQL queries.
• Good knowledge on Java design patterns
• Good experience with any unit testing frameworks like JUnit, JTest, TestNG, etc.
• Tools- GITHUB, Jenkins, Maven and any other CI tools experience is mandatory.
• Good communication skills
• Should have good client facing experience as this role involves lot of interaction with client IT and the business folks
• Good organizational and written/verbal communication skills
• Good presentation skills
• Positive attitude and team focus are required
• Exposure to the Life Insurance would an added advantage.
• Experience in product development will be an added advantage
