Key Responsibilities
- Work as part of GIS BIDM globally distributed team to design and implement open source solutions in alignment with business needs and project schedules.
- Code, test, and document new or modified data systems to create robust and scalable applications for data analytics.
- Work with other developers to make sure that all solutions are consistent.
- Partner with business community to understand requirements, determine training needs and deliver user training sessions
- Perform technology and product research to better define requirements, resolve important issues and improve the overall capability of the analytics technology stack.
- Evaluate and provides feedback on future technologies and new releases/upgrades.
- Participate in technical planning & requirements gathering phases including Design, code, test, troubleshoot, and document engineering software applications.
- Ensuring that technical software development process is followed on the project, familiar with industry best practices for software development.
- Develop applications in languages including Angular,React and full stack development.
- Demonstrate the ability to adapt and work with team members of various experience level.
- Experience with source control tools (Git, SVN, etc.) and development workflow methodologies.
Skills:
- Passionate coder with 5+ years of application development experience with Front end technologies framework .
- Breadth of experience with Full stack development specifically Angular and React.
- Proficient with the languages, tools, and frameworks primarily Javascript, React JS, Redux, ESLint, Angular, Express and Node JS.
Strong experience working with RESTful APIs. - Good knowledge on state management, session, oAuth is required.
- Strong debugging, problem solving and investigative skills. Ability to assimilate disparate information (log files, error messages etc.) and pursue leads to find root cause problems.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Self-starter who can work independently.
- Strong consulting and communication skills. Ability to work effectively with various organizations in pursuit of problem solutions.
