Your Role and Responsibilities
Network and Securityadministrator / Subject Matter Expert with extensive experience in implementing Security technology in cloud platform . You’ll work with client to understand the requirements and provide required support to Google / AWS cloud network platform and suggest required changes as per industry standard and implement improvements in the client environments and provide support.
Responsibilities:

  • Attend / React on the alerts of r Up/Down status of Network devices such Switches and Router.
  • Work on incident or problem ticket after recognition of the problem and notify Client according to a mutually agreed escalation process
  • Respond to any alarms received from the in-scope devices
  • Contact product support / TAC support for network devices. For example, Cisco, Paulo alto and F5
  • Drive and produce a Root Cause Analysis (RCA) report
  • Provide the last archived configuration to assist with Restore in the event of configuration loss (including during any outage or disaster) or changes or performance issues
  • Perform device configuration management, back up and logging.
  • Maintain logical network diagrams and architecture documentation
  • Implement logical changes on LAN, such as port allocation, vlan, vref, Tunnelling and routing
  • Implementing routing protocols.
  • Resolve and remediate incidents related to devices in scope
  • Provide 3rd party vendor coordination (for, break-fix)
  • Monitoring network connectivity between Client- CSP (Cloud Service Provider)
  • Follow the compliance and security guideline and to make sure Compliance level is as per bank compliance expectation. Follow-up and do all needed coordination to achieve this.
  • Attend / React on the alerts of Firewall devices, BM will leverage on NMS (Monitoring tool) which would be configured with auto alert.
  • Upgrade firmware, security patches and latest software upgrades as per client policy
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any firewall incidents
  • Policy monitoring and fine tuning
  • Update and maintain the firewall policy as per client request.
  • Periodic back up of the configuration
  • Escalate security incidents via e-mail, as appropriate.
  • Configure the devices and make changes as required work on incident or problem ticket after recognition of the problem and notify client according to a mutually agreed escalation process.
  • Respond to any alarms received from the in-scope devices
  • Contact product support for Security devices i.e. OEM TAC
  • Follow the compliance and security guideline and to make sure compliance level is as per bank compliance expectation. Follow-up and do all needed coordination to achieve this for security components.
  • Perform software updates as per directions and plan of action received from client team.
  • Perform policy/configuration changes to the managed services/products as per the SOP shared by client

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Experience in network security up to layer 7 devices
  • Experience on F5 and Paulo Alto devices
  • Experience in Google / AWS Cloud Platform
  • Experience in design, development, documents, deployment, and support of complex solution on GCP for clients
  • Working knowledge of infrastructure-layer security design patterns, technologies, and products.
  • Strong experience in Data & application migration from on-premise to cloud with various migration strategies and assessments approaches.
  • Must have a clear knowledge of ITIL based service delivery.
  • Strong communications skill and multiple stakeholder’s management
  • End to end implementation of cloud transformation
  • Knowledge of automation to reduce the number of incidents or repetitive incidents are preferred.
  • Work with product managers to create a new products and offering in public cloud.
  • Work with sales team to design document and demonstrate to the customers.
  • Work with project team from envision to deployment of the solution in production.
  • Experience in Planning and implementation
  • At least one project experience in implementing of business requirements in GCP environment.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • CCNA Security preferred, CCNA in R&S is must
  • CCNP or CCIE Security will be advantage
  • Trained and certified either on F5 and Paulo Alto is must
  • Other security certificates will be added advantage ‒ CCSA or CCSE
  • At least one cloud technology Certification
