Must Have :-
1. Able to troubleshoot issues in live by analysis logs, traffic etc – typical skillset would be IIS logs analysis, Web API analysis using fiddler, C# / .NET exceptions knowledge, monitoring tools etc
2. Good on SQL in terms of queries , basic reporting, performance tuning etc – SQL server 2016
3. Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline and deployments – config changes , code deployments etc, automated unit tests etc
4. Very good Knowledge of various monitoring tools – e.g. – Splunk for log analysis, AppD for live server performance analysis, Run Scope for Service tests , Zendesk for tickets
5. Good knowledge about web flows – Akamai/CDN , load balancer, Apigee traffic , SSL offloading etc
6. Knowledge of distributed applications running in multiple DC’s and multiple DB’s on premise
7. Knowledge on windows services, batch jobs , SQL jobs and analysis of issues / failures for these
8. Very good analytical, logical mindset with decent communication and clarity of thought process.
Good to have :-
1. Hands on development experience around C#, ASP.NET MVC, SQL, JavaScript / jQuery.
2. In depth knowledge of around .NET framework versions, feature sets
3. Higher knowledge DR and IT operations aspects
