What you will be doing
Analyzes, designs, programs, debugs and modifies software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked or Internet-related computer programs. (Code must be used in core version of applications available for sale commercially.)
Interacts with product managers and/or users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.
Participates in software design meetings and analyzes user needs to determine technical requirements.
Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements.
Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications using current programming languages and technologies.
Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance
What you bring:
Experience working with ASP.Net, Model View Controller Framework (MVC), making database calls using ADO.Net or ODBC.
Well-versed in designing/developing web, winforms and console applications using C#VB.Net, ASP.Net, XML, JavaScript, Threading, XML Web Services, Entity Framework, ASP.NET Web API or WCF in multi-tier architecture.
Proficient with various web related technologies including ASP/ASP.Net, Ajax, jQuery, JavaScript, Skins, and CSS.
Expertise in database design and SQL programming on Oracle or MS SQL Server. Should be able to create tables, procedures, packages, views and triggers. Experience with IBM Db2 is a plus.
Experience with using source code control and for merging/managing multiple branches. Experience with GitHub is a plus.
GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides application software development services or technical support typically in a defined project.
Develops program logic for new applications or analyzes and modifies logic in existing applications.
Codes, tests, debugs, documents, implements and maintains software applications.
Maintains, tests and integrates application components.
