Job Description: MicroServices Developers Essential • A minimum of 5 years experience as a Software Engineer as Integrations developer or admin • Expertise in relevant applications development technologies, computing environments and languages – JAVA 8, Spring Boot Framework, NodeJS, KAFKA. • Experience with NoSQL DB – Cosmos DB • Experience of Web Services, SOAP & REST • Experience with testing tool -SOAP UI, Postman • Knowledge on Cloud architecture – preferable MS Azure. • Good knowledge of database design and structure • Excellent knowledge of the software development lifecycle, including Waterfall and Agile development methodologies • Good knowledge of application testing • Good knowledge of source code management like SVN, Bitbucket, Serena or Github Desirable • Experience of supervising others in IT development • Experience of leading the successful design, build, testing and implementation of complex IT applications solutions • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills • Experience of being the technical lead in a team comprised of onshore and offshore resources • Experience of influencing senior stakeholders in the selection of solutions to meet their requirements • Experience of a retail organisation • Expert knowledge of processes in relevant business areas (e.g. Finance, Supply Chain)
