Job Description
The Mechanical Engineer uses 3D CAD software to take product specifications and turn them into a manufacturable product, then releases that design into our engineering product lifecycle management (PLM) system. This role will focus on Single Phase UPS products.
Responsibilities:

  • Create 3D models using sheet metal and part modeling functionality in CAD
  • Create drawings and bills of material for sheet metal and purchased parts.
  • Generate complex assembly drawings and bill of materials.
  • Revise product documentation in CAD and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) database using our revision control system.
  • Work with manufacturing engineers and production associates to build prototypes and provide direction when needed.
  • Write, submit, and release engineering changes in our PLM database.
  • Ability to interpret agency design standards (Such as UL and IEC) for our products.

Education & Certifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree or above, major in mechanical design, mechanical manufacturing and other related majors, the basic knowledge is solid and firm
  • More than two years of experience in designing sheet metal products (cabinets, chassis) or plastic and die-casting products, familiar with sheet metal processing technology, proficient in AutoCAD, Pro/E or Solid Edge and other design software
  • Have a basic understanding of the relevant materials of power electronic products, product thermal design, safety regulations, EMC and other related knowledge
  • Bachelor degree or above, major in mechanical design, mechanical manufacturing and other related majors, the basic knowledge is solid and firm

  • Able to think and solve problems independently, diligent and conscientious, good at teamwork.
  • Experience in UPS, power modular structure design, thermal simulation is preferred.
