In this role, you have the opportunity to
- Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for providing the Technical support in problem solving in manufacturing operations & take lead in Maintaining and Improving the production processes. He is the interface point between R&D & Ops for Life cycle Management activities of products.
You are responsible for
- Drive ZERO DEFECT Manufacturing process by adopting latest technological innovations /Drive POKAYOKE/Built in Quality. Process Transformation, Risk Analysis & Providing the necessary controls in the manufacturing process to achieve zero process defects
- Lead for Life cycle management of Product & Drive Managing and implementing Technical/Engineering changes on production line without any stoppages.
- Drive Engineering change implementation at production including SAP related activities
- Drive improvements in Production Line efficiency by providing technical guidance & solutions . Drive development of new jigs and fixtures as part of continuous improvement
- Drive Process Validations for New Products /New Lines and partner with NPI teams to deliver the defect free product
- Drive improvement projects with cross-functional support & and actively contribute to the continuous improvement of product quality, shorten lead times and reduce costs.
- Establishing, organizing, training and delivery of the manufacturing process for New Products related to routing, layout, rules and means of production
- Drive innovations in production tooling’s and templates and ensure timely validation /revalidation . Drive development of new jigs and fixtures as part of continuous improvement/Equipment Qualifications/IO/OQ/PO
- Technical support and deliver integrated management of improvement projects related to processes within the DMC, Pune organization such as Tooling Managements, Test strategy and where possible, the interfaces with the Global IS Ops / BIU
- Deals with Different Manufacturing Sites within Philips for Product Transfer from Industrial Perspective
- Support NPI Buyers & SQE for Supplier selection as well as Establishing the right process at Supplier end & PPA Approval

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Preferred BE/ B.Tech Electronics Engineering (must have) with 9-12 Years of experience in
- Leading Line Engineering function
- Design Change management at operations and SAP related activities.
- Understanding of SAP / Bill of Materials/ E BOM/MBOM/Data enrichment /Routing in SAP
- Knowledge of PLM tools eg Windchill
- Process & Testing automation /Process Design /Test Methods VALIDATION
- Strong Design engineering background will be preferred
- Strong in Process FMEA / Design of experiments techniques / Statistical process control /POKAYOKE
- Strong experience of design of tooling’s and fixtures for production line and experience in Equipment IQ/OQ/PQ
- Strong experience in Technical problem solving on production lines
- Strong experience in Setting up New manufacturing line and layouts/Tools selections/Equipment Validations/Trainings
- Executing improvement projects /KAIZEN Events/Green belt projects
- SOP development, Risk Analysis & Controls/ Time Study, Capacity Planning & Layout design/execution
- Experience in MSA/APQP /LEAN will be added advantage
- Disciplined work attitude /Quality Result oriented /Eager to learn/Process-oriented and innovative thinker
- Good team player and able to influence cross- functional teams.
