Are you the one we are looking forInviting applications for the role of Manager, Taxation
In this role, you will be responsible for tax compliance, tax reporting and transfer pricing for various Indian and Asia Pacific entities.
This role will report to VP/AVP, Tax and collaborate with the Global tax team, accounting/ controllership team, financial auditors and tax advisors.Responsibilities:

  • Knowledge of ASC 740 / 450 principles preferred. Handle US GAAP Close %26ndash; annual and quarterly tax packs. Identify and monitor the company%26rsquo;s uncertain tax positions; be involved in the preparation and reviews of related memos
  • Maintain accounting for deferred tax assets and Liabilities in Local and US GAAP, including valuation allowance
  • Prepare and review direct and indirect tax returns and maintain a tax filing calendar. Support tax assessments/appeals in various jurisdictions including India.
  • Monitor cross-border payments and corresponding tax withholdings and manage reconciliations and filings.
  • Maintain transfer pricing documentation such as intercompany agreements; ensure implementation of policies across various jurisdictions and record adjustments.
  • Coordinate with various departments and auditors (India and non-India based) concerning Financial / Statutory audits
  • Monitor changes in tax legislation and accurately communicate those changes and recommendations to the team

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications

  • CA/ CPA
  • Significant India / Asia Pacific tax reporting, tax compliance and transfer pricing experience.
  • Working knowledge of tax laws of APAC countries like Australia, Singapore, Philippines, Malaysia.
  • International tax exposure (treaty interpretation etc)

Preferred qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • GST /Indirect tax experience is a plus.
  • Encouraged to work on strict deadlines, in a fairly dynamic/ fast paced business environment while being a good team leader/ player.
