The position in discussion is with the Tax MI team at KPMG Global Services (KGS). This role is an integral part of the firm’s strategy to enhance innovation, build scalability, and improve profitability, globally.:
- Deep understanding of invoice management and contracts management.
- Experience in managing finance structures – cost centres and codes structure
- Finance management – preparation of estimates and provisions
- Invoice management – account receivables and payables
- MI reviews and reconciliation of General Ledger and management information and cost allocation
- Vendor management – onboarding, engagement, negotiations, etc.
- Accounts receivables – ensure timely collections to ensure low AR outstanding
- Monitor internal and external communications related to accounts payables and receivables and respond in a timely manner.
- SOP management – updates and reviews to remain refreshed and compliant with firm’s requirements
- Rate card repository management
- Project management
- Coordinating with teams to manage JML process
- Leading and managing team, planning and setting goals for the team, monitoring team performance to ensure objectives are met.
- Sharing knowledge and coaching the team members.
- Maintaining the data confidentiality and adherence to the compliance to policies.
- Maintain Quality standards of 100% in all the finance activities
- Continuous improvement in driving efficiency.
- Demonstrating sound knowledge of applicable accounting standards on all projects
- Work closely with the manager to ensure consistency and quality of support provided to onshore account teams, devise quality procedures, standards and specifications
Others:
- Ensuring that personal goals pertaining to business profitability and quality are achieved
- Complying with the applicable KPMG Risk Management policies
- Building relationships with corporate functions across different locations and co-ordinate with onshore team members for any invoice related queries
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Masters/ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university – Commerce/ Finance
- Technical Skills: Proficient with MS Excel; Working knowledge of MS PowerPoint and other regular MS Office applications
Prior Experience
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in Project management %26amp; finance related roles
- Working knowledge of accounting practices and procedures
