Source and provide appropriate services for CBM and Oil & Gas Exploration / Development contracts
Source and provide appropriate material for CBM and Oil & Gas Exploration / Development contracts
Develop and install appropriate procedures for procurement and import of oil field goods and equipment so as to avail zero customs and GST benefits
Contracting and negotiating strategy
MAJOR ACTIVITIES:
Develop a wide network by geographical reach of vendors
Source services at optimum costs
Ensure timely mobilization of services
Co-ordination with E-bidding team
Develop a wide network by geographical reach of vendors
Source material on time at optimum costs
Ensure timely delivery of material
Co-ordination with E-bidding team
Ensure duty-free imports and re-exports (if required)
Ensure clean re-export of capital items within timelines, wherever applicable to avoid duties / penalties
Develop clear procedures, documentation and audit trails within SAP environment for all transactions
Develop a format / templates for each type of Service Contract and POs etc. for equipment
To minimize the liabilities by negotiating terms in favor of Company to the extent possible
Tender Drafting & Contract Drafting ensuring terms in favor of Company

Knowledge of market and vendors for: Seismic Services, Drilling Rig services, Mud Engineering, Mud Logging, Electro-logging, Cementing, Fracturing, LWD, MWD Services, Production Testing, Logistical services, Fabrication, Construction & other Production related Items (required for sub-surface & surface items), Pipeline related Items, Procurement of High Value Capital Items (Compressors, Generators, Pump, VFD, RO Plant etc), Civil Construction facilities etc.
Knowledge of market and vendors as above for Drill Bits, Casings, Tubings, Well Heads, Casing Accessories, Other Drilling Tangibles,. Knowledge of market and vendors for Mud & Cementing Chemicals, Compressors, Pipelines, Separators, Jackets, Platforms, etc.
Liaise with Customs, Excise & GST authorities and DGH for Essentiality Certificates, CHA, Port authorities. Execute all transactions in conformance with applicable tariffs / tax laws. Ensure compliance to PSCs and other commercial laws of land.
Contracts and Pos to be based on internationally accepted terms and conditions for the industry following DGH guidelines and best practices
Working knowledge on SAP/ Ariba / Other ERP programs
KEY CHALLENGES:
Sourcing in a situation of tight budget, with limited vendors ruling the market and dictating the prices and terms.
To ensure timely mobilization of tangibles & services and equipment on short notice.

Eligibility
B.E. Mech. / Electrical / Petroleum / Chemical;
PG Course in
Materials Management or other equivalent degree with relevant experience.
CIPS / IACCM certification shall be added advantage.
