Purpose & Scope:
The SAP Finance Manager will be part of the IT -Finance team contributing towards the support and development of financial applications using SAP FI/CO, Oracle cloud, Ariba & Automation Technology.
Based in Bangalore, India, this lead role will be working in partnership with Director, Finance applications and other technical resources on the IT teams, responsible for implementation of new projects and day to day support activities within the Finance Technology. As a Ralph Lauren Functional Lead, you will be a part of a growing community that is Global in scope and operates across all of Ralph Lauren’s regions & application disciplines.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Technical Skills

  • Works as a Subject Matter Expert with the user community, other SAP business process leads, SAP development team and other team members on IT projects
  • Manage a team of Technical resources across SAP finance, Oracle cloud & Ariba, concur, Vertex, IT2
  • Ownership for the solution & deliverables from the Ralph Lauren India Technology Team on time & budget
  • Defines and implements best business practices, adhering to the business standards
  • Identifies costs, benefits, risks, and alternatives in proposed system designs and their impact on the integration with other systems and finance technology
  • Troubleshoots application problems and proposes optimal resolutions
  • Supports for monthly and year-end activities
  • Act as direct liaison with Finance business and ERP team for troubleshooting, business process mapping and system enhancements
  • Leading system and integration testing and production go live activities
  • Lead in defining best practices for CoE to optimize development efforts

  • Serve as a primary technical point of contact to discuss new requirements and provide knowledge of development environments and processes

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

  • Minimum 8years of hands-on SAP FI/COimplementation and support work experience
  • Minimum two full life cycle Implementation​
  • Bachelor’s degree or 8 or more years of work experience with specialized leadership training and/or demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities through previous experience and education
  • Must posses core strength in SAP Finance (SAP FI) and SAP Controlling (SAP CO)
  • Should have integration knowledge of FI/CO with other SAP modules (MM and SD)
  • Should have in depth SAP experience with FI Configuration which includes General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury, Asset Accounting, FSCM
  • SAP Controlling configuration which include General controlling, Cost center accounting, Cost element accounting, Profit center accounting, Product Costing, Material Ledger, Project system
  • Must be an SAP accounting and costing expert
  • Experience in NA Sales and Use tax,EU Value Added Tax and Statutory reporting
  • Experience in Retail and/or Fashion Industry is a huge plus
  • Experience in Global Implementation will be a plus
  • Excellent communication (both written & verbal), presentation and business relationship skills
  • Experience with managing teams & business partners across the globe desired
  • Experience with Concur (T&E) and Vertex will be a Plus

Certifications:

  • SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP FI/CO Certification Preferred
