The Role Responsibilities
Business
The main objective of this role is the end-to-end Functional Design and Product Ownership of Treasury BI and Analytics solutions. Successful candidates are expected to be solution architects and change managers responsible for conceptualization, functional design, prototyping, solution validation, effective embedment and ongoing maintenance of BI and Analytics layer for regulatory and internal risk reporting solutions.
The successful candidate will work closely with Treasury Risk Managers, Liquidity Dealers, Technology and Program Managers to promote centralization and automation of standardized analytical solutions. He / She will also drive operational efficiencies, helping the business reduce reliance on time-consuming processes. The successful candidate will provide support across number of critical initiatives in the Treasury BI and Analytics space covering regulatory and internal metrics, as well as maintenance of existing tools managed by the Business.

Processes
- Gathering and documentation of business requirements across various stakeholders within Treasury and validate business benefits from delivering these requirements for prioritisation.
- Develop prototypes for advanced requirements and Build tactical Dashboards in BI applications (Tableau) within quick turnaround time (TAT) taking into account data flows, calculation methodology, business process flows, user experience, analytics, performance, etc.
- Validate the relevant data extracts as inputs for analytics layer, considering the balance between accuracy, cost of sourcing, platform performance and business benefits.
- Lead the definition and support execution of test cases for user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Document all underlying methodologies, design, assumptions and operating models
- Lead the coordination with Regional Analytics and delivery teams to ensure proper training and embedment of developed tools for Treasury users
- Provide ongoing product management maintenance and support
- Communication with relevant teams to understand user needs, resolve issues and promote usage of the products developed
- Provide input into the strategic direction of Treasury platforms and plan projects accordingly
- Drive operational efficiencies, helping the business reduce reliance on time-consuming processes and adopt AGILE and New ways of Working.

- The candidate will be predominantly an individual contributor. However, effective collaboration within team and the broader Liquidity, Treasury, change and Technology will be key to success.

Key Stakeholders
- BSM CoE team interacts with several business partners on a day-to-day basis within the bank that include Business, Finance, Treasury (Capital, Liquidity, Markets, Risk and Balance Sheet Optimization), Risk Analytics, Portfolio Risk, Group Regulatory Reporting and Technology. This team provides services covering all client segments of SCB across all countries, through a centralized and standardized delivery model under Global Process Management framework.
Our Ideal Candidate
- Graduate (Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Science) / MBA, PG Diploma or related degree in Banking / Finance / Statistics or any quantitative field from an institute of repute
- Professional Qualification like CA / CIMA
- Certifications like FRM / CFA / PRM
- Graduates with relevant work experience in the above-mentioned areas will also be considered.
