Manager– System Hardware Solutions
Job Description:
The desired candidate should be self-driven, willing todrive ateam and passion to getting things done. Should have strong communication and written skills. The candidate should have the ability to work with global teams. He/She would be working on end to end System level Hardware specifications to volume production and collaborate and participate in product launches. This would include working with cross functional teams on the Board specification for any horizontal or vertical solutions, working with 3rd party vendors for building hardware and ensure quality and the best customer experience. It includes understanding the product definition in depth around the product offering in DDR4, DDR3, Serdes Transceivers and power delivery and should be willing to work on these applications and demonstrate debug skills on key silicon and system level issues. Essential Characteristics
- BSEE; Mtech is preferable
- 12+ years relevant Hardware Experience
- Hardware Design – Schematics and Layout Skills – Cadence Allegro, Orcad, Altium
- Have good experience in schematics/layout in memory subsystems – DDR3, DDR4, LPDDR4
- Demonstrate good timing skills on memory design andend to endHigh Speed applications
- Exhibit experience in building robust system level solutions which are power efficient
- Exhibit experience in end to end high speed solutions is a plus – Eg. SFP+, GPON, OAM, OLT, MIPI
- Use of SI Tools is a plus – HFSS, Siwave, Hyperlynx , HSPICE
- Strong lab and debug skills is a must
- Adept at using High Speed equipment –TDR, Oscilloscope
- Participate with packaging team to help in package design with breakout studies and pinouts.
