The Manager FinOps AP will be responsible for service delivery of our Accounts Payable function for a specific geo / country and will partner with a diverse set of stakeholders within the Finance Shared Service Organization as well as the business. A key responsibility will be to deliver existing services at a high degree of accuracy, timeliness and controllership, besides supporting the growth in business. Leading a team of 50-75 resources, this position will provide overall leadership and direction to the team.
This role requires one to be a self-starter with strong business modeling skills, a keen attention to detail and good track record of collaborating with diverse stakeholders. This role has regular interaction with senior leadership and stakeholders across Amazon and requires strong verbal and written communication skills. The candidate will need to be capable of operating with a high degree of autonomy, and hence needs to demonstrate a high degree of comfort with ambiguity besides holding a high bar on performance. The candidate will need to have a proven track record for hiring, developing and retaining the best talent.
Management responsibilities

Business/Function Responsibilities
. Drive development and expansion of systems and processes required to execute on-time payments to Vendors.
. Build and monitor performance metrics, with focus on ensuring on-time payments, cost out initiatives and estimating future headcount growth.
. Lead a team of 50-75 Analysts with 6 Directs across Payables process.
. Drive the expansion of self-service functionality in order to improve vendor experience and reduce manual processes.
. Maintain weekly and monthly communications and metrics reporting with Director and VP level business partners and finance teams.
. Developing, modifying and maintaining the operational and design effectiveness of internal controls
. Lead cross functional systems and process improvement initiatives.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Basic Qualifications
. Bachelors / Masters or CWA with 12 or more years of relevant Finance and/or Operational experience.
. Demonstrates strong communication (verbal and written) skills is able to positively influence behaviors and outcomes.
. Exceptional attention to detail and a work ethic based upon a strong desire to exceed expectations.
. Strong analytical skills and ability to evaluate business processes from several angles, including from the perspective of a business process leaders, customers, and supporting internal stakeholders.
. Experience with complex problem solving using Lean / Six Sigma techniques desired.
. Ability to work with minimal direction in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
. Proven project management ability that shows how to organize, find solutions, and follow through to a successful conclusion.
. Internal and external customer focus and a work ethic based on a strong desire to exceed expectations.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
