Corporate Bank ( CB) is at the heart of Deutsche Bank’s client franchise. CB is a market leader in cash management, loans and trade finance, risk management for FX and Rates, trust and agency services as well as securities services. A key factor that has allowed the Corporate Bank to deliver growth over and above the rest of the market is the bespoke client solutions delivered by the Loans and Trade Finance Structuring ( LTFS) team.
- The LTFS team has delivered complex debt (loan and trade) solutions across a variety of sectors in all markets in Asia Pacific.
- We have completed transactions across sectors including: Power Generation, Commodities, Financial Institutions, Infrastructure, Retail, Automotive, Construction and many others.
- Our products and solutions span the entire balance sheet and financing needs of our clients.
- The role is a core part of the APAC and India LTFS team and requires the applicant to have solid understanding of TF&L products. It requires quickly taking up transactions and requests and operating on a self-sufficient basis.

Your key responsibilities:
- Assist with and lead origination and execution initiatives through jointly working with Coverage and Sales teams on a wide range of financing solutions for corporate clients
- Front to back ownership for building sustainable revenue growth & profitability, credit risk, and regulatory compliance
- Negotiate and prepare external documents such as term sheets, offering / info memos, and prospectuses as well as preparation and coordination of internal approval documents and credit memos
- Driving the building of complex financial models and quality stamping/ assuming responsibility for different output generated by junior staff (i.e. presentations, credit proposals)
- Collaborate and maintain active contacts with other Corporate Bank departments/disciplines, such as Coverage Teams, Syndications, Financial Markets, Risk Management, etc.
- Maintain client contact in both the marketing and execution phases of transactions
- Actively work to find innovative solutions to distribute risk – Work with Insurance and Syndications team to find new avenues of getting credit insurance by engaging with the insurers
- Coaching, training and development of junior team members
Your skills and experience
- 7-10 years of experience in Structured Trade, STEF/SCTF and/or, Corporate Banking
- Strong understanding and in-depth knowledge of one or more of the following products, i.e. Structured Lending, Structured Trade or Loans markets
- Proven track record in structuring, negotiating and execution of complex cross border financing transactions as well as providing strategic advice to clients
- Strong financial modelling skills, writing skills – to persuade decision makers – short memoranda to detailed credit papers, working through due diligence on trades including handling 3rd party experts
- Excellent credit skills
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills and ability to work across multi-cultural and diverse client base
