Job
description (additions specific to senior manager focusing on Controls %26amp;
Governance role) :

Given
the importance of process governance and improving overall control environment
across BSM and with key focus of liquidity/capital reporting %26amp; data ;
require dedicated senior management attention to ensure GFS process are well
controlled.
With
an imminent external regulatory audit in due course (Section 166 Audit) which
is an extensive review of the process %26amp; controls conducted by lead
regulator (PRA) across the banks process off-shore and on-shore.
In
preparation of this and also from an on-going basis to enhance control
environment , we’re looking for incumbents to join in BSM Liquidity /Capital
functions.
The
incumbent to possess basic working knowledge in finance %26amp; accounting and
must have a minimum of 15 years of overall experience in working for global
organisation
The
incumbent must also possess knowledge and experience of working across
geographies dealing with multiple senior stakeholders and responsible for
deliverables
The
candidate would be required to showcase proven track record in setting up
control environment or conducting process reviews/audit leading to improvements
in process controls
Knowledge
of BCBS 239 %26amp; ORF principles will be additional benefitKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Define, document and provide governance over the standard product / service catalogue for which the reporting team is accountable
• Provide day-to-day delivery management to the reporting teams.
• Deliver on commitments both on external and internal reporting requirements
• Proactively lead and build relationship with Group Liquidity Regulatory Reporting teams as well as country finance organization and key stakeholders.
• Build domain expertise within team for Liquidity reporting aspects as well as regulatory reporting guidelines including BASEL III
• Oversee the management of key risks and issues and drive resolution
• Comply, Monitor, Validate and Report all Key Performance Indicators within the overall service delivery framework. This includes identification, measurement, monitoring and control of all thresholds set as part of Governance Framework of the bank
• Provide guidance / support to Projects to drive strategic solution in-line with the business needsPeople Engagement and Management:• Build, manage, coach, develop and engage a team of high performing individuals.Process and Service Management:• Identify opportunities to remove process waste, engage in standardisation of various reporting packs and encourage, drive and support automation initiatives thereby reduce / remove the non-value adds in the process.
• Establish robust control and governance on the process
• Drive productivity and achieve cost efficiencies through continuous improvement initiatives.
• Drive a culture to measure and manage through appropriate productivity, service quality metrics etc.
• Ensure detailed documentation and it is up to date for all processes
• Ensure all queries for submitted reports are reverted within timelinesTargets and Budgets:• Ensure management of the reporting team within the assigned budgetQUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
a. Essential:1. Exposure to managing small business units end to end covering Budget, Profitability, Stake Holder %26amp; Team management
2. International Exposure through short / long term assignment in delivery / business development
3. Ability to present strategic plans to senior management
4. Proven ability to provide thought leadership on strategic initiatives of any one of the previous organizations
5. Cross Industry exposure through lectures / Paper presentations, Publications / Blogs etc is an added advantage
6. Finance Professionals (Chartered Accountant) or Under-Graduation in Engineering + MBA (Finance) from a reputed institution
7. 12 to 18 years of relevant experience
8. Strong experience in managing Service Delivery
9. Strong analytical skills
10. Good understanding of banking products / Operations
11. Any other Professional certification like FRM or CFA will be an added advantageb. Desirable:Domain skills on Funds Transfer Pricing, Liquidity and Interest Rate Risk Management and Reporting, Basel III guidelines, Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR), Net Stable Funding Ratio (NSFR), Additional Liquidity Monitoring metrics (ALMM), Intra-day Liquidity reporting (IDL), Asset %26amp; Liability Management or other Balance Sheet reportingKEY RELATIONSHIPS:• Head, Centre of Expertise, Liquidity
