  • Ensure the provision of ongoing training and development of people, and ensure that holders of all critical functions are suitably skilled and qualified for their roles ensuring that they have effective supervision in place to mitigate any risks.
  • Employ, engage and retain high quality people, with succession planning for critical roles.

Other Responsibilities

  • Delivery of the assigned CHRT integration workstream portfolio
  • Work closely with HR Stakeholders to ensure that requirements are in line with the bank%26rsquo;s strategy
  • Engage with third-party vendors as appropriate for the project
  • Own and manage the project plan, financials, projections, issue/dependency tracking, resourcing and timescales for the Project
  • Provide leadership on Change Management for relevant projects. Creating and implementing change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage and minimize resistance.
  • Support project teams in integrating change management activities into their project plans, providing guidance and/or execution on design, development, delivery and management of communications and stakeholder engagement.
  • Execute %26amp; implement a standardised Operating Models and Procedures including resource management approach for new products and processes being delivered by project.
  • Co-ordinate and develop executive briefing materials for the senior management promoting and reporting on the project/programme to key stakeholders.
  • Provide ownership and control of audit requirements within the programme working with internal and external stakeholders on RFI submissions and presentations.
  • Coordinate the programme%26rsquo;s Continuous Improvement initiatives including lessons learned, identifying opportunities for A3 improvements and provide collaboration link to other teams including Central Squad initiatives. Lead and mentor team members in communications and best practice as required .
  • Deputise for and assist Programme Manager on running of the programme where necessary.
  • Advocate delivery excellence, minimising delivery risk
  • Follow the bank%26rsquo;s project methodology and drive enhancements to it where appropriate
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders: Business, Fellow Change leaders inside and outside of CIO HR
  • Timely and clear communications to the stakeholder community
  • Manage projects in line with ePMO standards. Ensuring Clarity is up to date including Project static, RAG status, key milestones, financials, risks, dependencies, issues and resource forecasts, and they are tracked and reported to the appropriate governance bodies
  • Ensuring that all submissions to committees and working groups (PED, Red Packs, Closure Reports, Benefit Reports, Progress Reports, etc.) are of the right quality and are timely
  • Implementing project closure procedure
  • Review, control and report on financial status of the individual components and overall workstream as per the bank%26rsquo;s standards and workstream governance
  • Ensure measures %26ndash; as per the bank%26rsquo;s standards, are in place and workstream governance %26ndash; for benefits tracking are implemented end-to-end

Our Ideal Candidate

  • 15 or more years of experience in delivering major change programmes in the Banking industry, including accountability for IT solution delivery
  • Stakeholder management experience working with senior level stakeholders to deliver change
  • Proven experience with co-ordination of many dependencies and multiple demanding stakeholders in a complex, large-scale deployment environment
  • Rigorous approach to management of project delivery methodology
  • Proven skills in co-ordination, staff management and leadership working with vendors and internal teams
  • Leadership skills to coach, co-ordinate and grow a successful delivery team
  • Strong product knowledge of financial markets instruments and balance sheet products.
  • Excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage a diverse and challenging stakeholder community
  • PMP Mandatory
