Job Description for Joomla Developer (2.x and 3.x)
• 2 to 4 Years of development experience in Joomlawith focus on Web / E-Commerce project development.
• Must be very strong in Joomla, Content Management System (CMS), PHP, JavaScript and HTML / CSS.
• Must be proficient in Joomla 2.x and 3.x versions.
• Must have experience in both backend and front endJoomla site development.
• Must have experience in hosting Joomla in local environment and as well as in public hosting networks.
• Must have exposure to Joomla Plugins, Themes, Security and CDNs etc.
• Strong and hands on experience in Java script and JQuery.
• Good experience in DIV + CSS (Table-less HTML) based liquid layout techniques and CSS Grid Layout.
• Experience in common third-party APIs (Google, Facebook, eBay etc).
• Knowledge on SQL will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge on Drupal and WordPress is an added advantage.
• Knowledge on LESS and SASS is an added advantage.
• Knowledge on web services (SOAP. REST etc) and JSON, XML.
• Involved in end-to-end development, deployment and maintenance process.
• Good knowledge of build tools like webpack, grunt, gulp.
• Good debugging (Chrome Inspector etc) and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as SVN, Git
• E-commerce domain knowledge will be added advantage.
• Positive attitude, strong analytical and communication skills.
