
MHA (Ministry of Home Affairs) has recently officially released IB Recruitment 2017 notification for 1300 vacancies of Assistant Central Intelligence Officer Grade II & Executives. Interested candidates can start applying for Intelligence Bureau ACIO Recruitment 2017-18 from 12th August 2017.
Note: The Handicapped/OH/HH/VH are not eligible for this post, so they are requested to not apply for the IB ACIO recruitment 2017.

Registration Fees for IB ACIO Exam
For General (Male) & OBC candidates, the registration fee is Rs 100/- only. There is No fee for SC/ST/Female candidates.

- Click on the link and open it.
- Now read all the details carefully and fill the necessary details.
- Now press the submit button.
- Choose the mode of payment and pay the post fees of the department.
- Take the print of the online application for further use.
IB ACIO Eligibility Criteria 2017
Education Qualification
Essential Qualification: Candidates applying for IB ACIO must possess Graduate or equivalent degree from any government recognized university in order to appear for the MHA ACIO recruitment exam.
Desirable Qualification: Knowledge of Computer
Age Limit & Age Relaxation
Lower Age Limit: 18 years
Upper Age Limit: 27 years
Age Relaxation: Age relaxation for IB ACIO candidates are 5 years for SC/ST & 3 years for OBC.
Assistant Central Intelligence Officer Pay Scale
The pay scale of Assistant Central Intelligence Officer Grade II Executive is Rs 9,300/- – Rs 34,800/- + Grade Pay 4200 & Allowance.
IB ACIO Selection Process
The Intelligence Bureau ACIO Selection Process 2017-18 is divided mainly into three parts:
- Tier 1 Exam
- Tier 2 Exam
- Interview
MHA ACIO Tier 1 exam is basically an online objective type of exam. The candidates who will clear the Tier 1 exam, will then appear for the MHA ACIO Tier 2 exam. Tier 2 is descriptive in nature and to pass the Tier 2 exam, candidates are required to score at least 33% marks (as per the rule). Based on Tier 1 and Tier 2 exam performances, candidates will be called for an Interview for the final round of selection.

The Intelligence Bureau ACIO Recruitment 2017-18 posts are subjected to All India Service Liability. Please note that AISL is All India Service Liability, which means Candidates selected for appointment are liable to serve anywhere in India.
Intelligence Bureau ACIO Exam Pattern & Syllabus
The MHA ACIO Exam will be going to take place in two parts. There will be 100 questions, each containing 1 marks in Tier 1 Exam. Please note that for each wrong answer in Tier 1 exam there will be a negative marking of ΒΌ marks. So, please be careful while attempting the questions.
Tier 2 is descriptive in nature, which is of 50 marks. Please refer to the table below of detailed MHA ACIO Exam Pattern for both Tier 1 & Tier 2 exam:
