JD for Developer – Java + Scala / Spark :::
• Expertise in Data Engineering. Hands-on experience in design and development of big data platform.
• Understanding of modern data processing technology stacks: Spark, HBase and other Hadoop ecosystem technologies. Development using Scala is a plus.
• Understanding of streaming data architectures and technologies for real-time data processing
• Experience with agile development methods including: core values, guiding principles, and key agile practices
• Understanding of the theory and application of Continuous Integration/Delivery
• Experience with NoSQL technologies including column family, graph, document, and key-value data storage technologies is a plus.
• Experience in Financial Services industry with a focus on Private Bank / Wealth Mgmt. is a plus
• Hands on design and development with Spark, DataFrames, MapReduce
• Hands on design and development with graph databases (Neo4J, ArangoDB)
• Experience with interpreted development languages – Javascript, Python, R
