Global Business Services (GBS) is ABB’s shared services organization which delivers operational and expert services in Finance, Human Resources, Information Systems, Legal, Global Travel Services and external Customer Contact Centers. With employees based in five main hubs and front offices, GBS provides mainly Business services to ABB teams across the globe as well as supports with external customer inquiries. This is a IS Compliance Manager role, reporting to the Head, AMEA located in Bangalore. You will be responsible for managing, driving and ensuring compliance to ABB’s assurance, risk, and internal control processes, policies, guidelines and directives for AMEA ERP Center Of Expertise (COE).Your responsibilities
- Defining the framework, scoping and methodology for all related activities.
- Ensuring a coordinated and consistent approach to implementation, maintenance and assessment of the internal control system throughout AMEA ERP CoE.
- Coordinating activities to design, implement and maintain a system of internal control in line with group standards.
- Driving simplification and rationalization of the overall assurance, risk and internal controls environment, and the related systems.
- Monitoring and guiding management in the timely and sustainable remediation of deficiencies.
- Supporting assessment of deficiencies and their underlying causes, prepares relevant analyses and sponsors remediation and sustainable elimination of causes of deficiency.
- Coordinating and delivering training programs for assessors and testing managers, and programs for the development of new process owners and control owners.
- Supporting, educating and inspiring the entire organization in issues concerning assurance and internal control.
- Maintaining relationships with internal and external auditors, supporting their plans and their definition of scope of work, monitoring the results of their reports and sponsoring the financial and control actions to remediate deficiencies in due time.

Your background
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline with certification in CISA / CISSP / CISM / CRISC.
- Minimum 10 years of IS compliance experience in a complex IS environment.
- Experience in SAP environment is highly desirable.
- Expert understanding of compliance standards, guidelines and frameworks like Sarbanes-Oxley, Internal Control over Financial Reporting, ISO, SSAE 16, Data privacy laws and regulations, GDPR, COBIT, TOGAF, etc.
- Good understanding of business environment, industry standards and emerging trends.
- Experience in working with related tools.
- Good communication and presentation skills with ability to effectively collaborate with diverse and complex stakeholders.
- Strong problem solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Good working knowledge in office applications like MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.
