Work with management team to ensure that SLA breaches and/or performance issues are closed out in a timely fashion Priorities root cause analysis and implement fixes to prevent issues reoccurring.

Knowledge / Experience
- Primarily a risk management function, the margin teams facilitate the front to back collateral management function.u00A0
- Once collateral is agreed and settled the exposure to that clearing client is mitigated.u00A0
- The margin team monitor delivery of client statements and margin calls, ensure the client agrees to pledge enough collateral and manages the settlement and reconciliation of that collateral.u00A0
- They also facilitate any onward delivery of collateral to the CCPs and Exchanges (where necessary) and provide MI, including risk metrics, around the surrounding processes.
Skills
- Perform all tasks in line with Standard Operating Procedure docs (SOPs) within the internal or market deadlines
- If necessary, escalate capacity concerns to management team to ensure tasks can be shared or delegated across the rest of the team
- Monitor controls and checks associated with tasks in SOPs to ensure accuracy of data, escalate any issues and near misses to management, work to reduce risk at every opportunity
- Strive to exceed agreed SLAs wherever possible and provide excellent level of support Work to reduce risk at every opportunity by adhering to risk and control policies, highlighting control gaps, escalate risks and suggesting improvements to processes
- Work closely with retained teams, especially client service to ensure the speedy resolution of issues and queries.u00A0
- Maintain and monitor a query/workload tracker close out tasks or issues within agreed framework escalating where necessary
- Build strong relationships with retained team and all key stakeholder groups
- Ensure they have enough training to complete their daily task effectively and conscientiously.u00A0 Measure progress honestly, work with line manager to address any technical or personal development issues
- Communicate these effectively with management team, Change and IT to.u00A0
- Clearly articulate the business case in terms of cost/benefit
- Play a key role in shaping requirements.
