What you will be doing
Ability to learn, understand and perform the process independently by leveraging his/her experience, knowledge and creativity to the process efficiently and effectively. Ensure all the Bank transactions accounted and reconciled within GFO scope for various business units of the organization and delivered after conducting relevant quality checks as per defined schedule.
What you bring:
Knowledge / Experience
- Perform Cash Accounting activities which includes preparation of tasks like monthly bank reconciliation, monthly blackline reconciliations, daily matching of bank and cash book, daily manual journals and weekly bank log book.
- Responsible to take action on all open items
- Coordinate with other teams to resolve the same.
- Candidate should be able to Individually identify/suggest areas for process improvements to enhance quality & timelines of process deliverables.
- Proactively look for new creative ideas and implement process improvements
- Working with onshore/stake holder as per business requirement
- Liaise with various team within GFO for issue resolution
- Participate in various brain storming session for betterment of process
- Provide real time support to resolve issues & queries raised
- Troubleshooting on escalated issues
- Leverage synergy within the team to complete process deliverables during absenteeism in the team
Skills
- 2-3 years of experience in General ledger process
- Good accounting knowledge
- Clear understanding of Balance sheet reconciliation
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to deliver output under pressure with accuracy and eye for detail
- Willingness to learn & grow
- Demonstrates flexibility in response to changes in the process
- Knowledge of Oracle and AGIS would be a plus
Qualifications
- B.com and MBA Finance Graduates
