The Role Responsibilities
Strategy

  • The Bank%26rsquo;s Cloud-First Strategy paves the way to modernisation and consolidating IT infrastructure, workload automation, and pursue next-generation innovative solutions.

  • Infrastructure Project Manager is responsible for end-to-end infrastructure solution deliveries in response to business and technology requests alike.

  • The end-to-end infrastructure delivery is achieved through high-quality project planning and execution following the Bank%26rsquo;s infrastructure delivery lifecycle and project management methodologies.

Business

  • Develop a deep understanding of the client%26rsquo;s requirements and how best to respond from an infrastructure perspective.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop a project management plan to deliver the infrastructure solution as designed, on time and to budget.

  • Act as the single-point-of-contact to CIO counterpart for infrastructure project delivery.

Processes

  • Orchestrate the end-to-end delivery of infrastructure solutions in response to project scope

  • Act as the subject matter expert in infrastructure delivery processes and collaborate with CIO counterparts to ensure project delivery complies with all the related infrastructure and Cloud governance controls.

  • Perform post-implementation review %26amp; follow through to project sign-off %26amp; closure.

  • Identify and implement improvements across delivery processes.

People and Talent

  • Manage functional specialists from various functional teams to deliver projects.

Risk Management

  • Identify risks and issues, mitigate and communicate to the project team, program manager and associated steering committee members.

Governance

  • Orchestrate the end-to-end delivery of infrastructure following the Bank%26rsquo;s technology delivery framework and cloud governance framework.

Regulatory %26amp; Business Conduct

  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group%26rsquo;s Values and Code of Conduct.

  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.

  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

Key Stakeholders

  • CIO application teams, Central Infrastructure teams, Cloud %26amp; DevOps teams.

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Certification for PMP or Scrum Master.

  • Certification for Cloud AWS or Azure.

  • 7+ years of IT project management.

  • Bachelor%26rsquo;s Degree in IT, Project Management or any relevant field of study.

  • Have strong interpersonal and leadership skills %26ndash; the ability to easily develop effective relationships with colleagues across the Bank to achieve common goals.

  • Strong critical thinking skill to objectively analyse, gather expert opinions to solve complex project issues.

  • Must be able to work effectively as part of a diverse team, and individually with minimal supervision.

  • Experience in managing project finances %26ndash; forecasting, actuals and accruals.

  • High-level understanding of multi-tier application architecture, container deployment model, DevOps continuous integration and continuous deployment.

  • Fundamental understanding of Cloud technology concepts, including availability, scalability, elasticity, security, network, disaster recovery, data privacy and compliance.

  • Experience in implementing global application instance onto Public Cloud, will be an added advantage.
