Academic Qualification: Candidate has passed Intermediate / 10 + 2 equivalent examination from any stream / subject which is recognized by central / state education boards, minimum 50 marks and minimum 50% marks in English subject.
Selection Procedure:
- Written Examination – English and Logic Power and General Awareness (duration 45 minutes).AT- 1 (Optimization Examination – 1 ) – Successful candidates in the written examination will be required to take the compatibility examination (duration 30 minutes).
- Physical Fitness Test (PFT) – All the candidates who pass the written examination and compatibility examination will be given PFT on the same day or the next. 1.6 km in PFT The race is Shamih which must be completed in 7 minutes. Candidates will also need to complete 10 push-ups, 10 sit-ups and 20 upazilas for qualifying in PFT. AT- 2 (Optimization Examination-2). Medical examination (January 2018).

- No application is necessary in recruitment rally. The son of serving, retired and deceased Air Force personnel is also eligible, provided that the mother or father is employed in a unit located in above district or is a native (residence certificate is mandatory).
