After all the online applications are submitted for the Gramin Dak Sevak Recruitment 2024, the department will first shortlist the candidates based on the marks obtained by them in the 10th standard. The top candidates will be then called for Document Verification and according to the candidates’ assessment at both stages, the final merit list will be developed.

Shortlisting based on 10th Class marks

The marks obtained by the candidates in the Secondary School Examination of 10th standard will be converted from Grades/Points to marks to the accuracy of 4 decimals. For applicants having only grades, subject-wise marks will be arrived at for each subject by using the multiplying factor of 9.5.
