1st November- World Vegan Day
Every year 1st November is celebrated as World Vegan Day for the purtoraise about the benefits of a vegan diet and veganism in general. The first Vegan Day was celebrated on 1st November 2021 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the UK Vegan Society. This day was established in 1994 by Louise Wallis, then Chair of The Vegan Society in the United Kingdom, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the founding of the organisation and the coining of the terms “vegan” and “veganism”.
