Job Description Business Summary: HR Source Employee Advisors serve as the primary HR contact to assist VMware employees with their HR needs. Provide front-line HR support and consultation that enables employees to find information, execute transactions, and resolve issues. Employees Advisors make accessing HR support easy and seamless while delivering a positive customer experience in every engagement. Job Role and Responsibility This position will report into the Manager, HR Source APJ, and will partner closely with the global and regional HR Services teams, various COEs including Compensation, Benefits, GPD, TA, Relocation/Immigration, as well as HR Management Partners, Employee Relations to carry out day to day advisory services, role model in promotion of HR Source service model, promote and contribute to knowledge base philosophy and documentation, and represent HR Source in established partnerships as Liaisor, Contributes to UAT. Main Responsibilities Serve as a primary HR point of contact for all APJ countries employees and managers HR enquiries via instant chat, phone and the VMware Case Management tool Provide superior customer service and HR support to VMware employees and managers Utilize critical thinking skills, HR knowledge and internal knowledge base to support incoming query Problem solve and support VMware employees and managers throughout the VMware cyclical HR programs Help resolve non-standard employee enquiries, identifying the best means to find expert support internally or externally Objectively use coaching skills to support employees and managers through relatively complex HR issues Be a great partner with peers and the broader HR team Document all contacts and outcomes within the case management tool Collaborate with regional HR Services team Contribute to knowledge base content for the team Actively promote Direct Access resources and Self-Service Share and improve processes within the HR Source teams Analyze trends and report results, bringing findings and insights from HR Source to our businesses Take on projects as a leader and participant to contribute to making a better HR organization Required Skills/Qualifications Fluent business English language speaking, reading and writing, able to support business communication Familiar with HR Call Center/Help Center service SLA model. Self-motivated, collaborative with a strong focus on service delivery, quality and efficiency Ability to professionally handle confidential information and data Dedication to achieve with a consistent record of delivering results Ability to diagnose complex situations and multifaceted problems with a holistic mindset Ability to handle high volume of employee contacts daily while maintaining a positive attitude Ability to build strong working relationships across different levels of the Human Resources organization Excellent planning and organization skills with attention to detail and accuracy Ability to meet deadlines in a high-volume energizing environment where change is constant Ability to work independently with virtual supervision Effective time management skills Ability to ‘think on your feet and resolve issues in real time Project coordinating/Management skills Good communication skill and ability of presentation and training to small group of people or team Preferred Skills/Qualifications 3-5 years experience with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience within HR field (ideal) Experience working in a multi-national environment, and HR services or HR call center experience (will have advantage). Solid understanding of HR principals and programs Experience in using Workday system Physical Requirements: Relatively prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer or phone calls.
