Head of Field Enablement – India
Head of Field Enablement of Amazon Internet Services Private Limited (AISPL) will collaborate with the regional Business Leaders of AISPL and functional Worldwide/APJ teams to define, develop and execute against our Enablement priorities. This role will be responsible for accelerating customer success via enablement strategies that improve field effectiveness, capability and productivity. From the initial onboarding of customer facing Reps and managers of AISPL through to continuous ‘Always-boarding’ across our portfolio of offerings and solutions, tools and mechanisms and planning mechanisms. The ole must design a customized enablement strategy that aligns with both WW goals and priorities, APJ and India Goals. The team is required to ensure all WW and APJ programs are effectively localized for India business and ensure successful launch, adoption and change management of all programs, done through creative ways that amplify field engagement associated to learning and development. This means have a clear understanding of business priorities, using data to help identify and validate needs / gaps, building a strategy, developing programs, executing against the plan and measuring impact and effectiveness.
The successful candidate will have deep enablement experience, both in designing an enablement strategy and designing and building programs. They will also have experience in accelerating change management and adoption of enablement programs, tools and business mechanisms. They will have experience leading and developing a high performing team. The ideal candidate should have stellar executive presence and communication skills, to be able to present ideas, plans and asks to senior stakeholders. They must demonstrate an ability to dive deep into data to support strategy validation, measure impact and drive continuous improvement. The ideal candidate would have strong project management skills with an ability to partner and influence cross functionally and cross- geographically. This is a hands-on position with high visibility – the ideal candidate must be willing to ‘roll up the sleeves’ and get things done.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
. Lead a small team of Field Enablement Specialists to define and land the India Field Enablement strategy
. Collaborate with Leadership to co-ideate, design, vet and drive the Enablement strategy for our business development teams in AISPL
. Uncover business needs, design solutions, launch, iterate, and measure impact
. Build effective change management plans that accelerate adoption and utilization, measure effectiveness and identify improvements
. Collaborate and partner with the WW/APJ enablement leads to deliver best practices and leverage existing programs and content to ensure a smooth and quick landing of programs in AISPL
. Develop and present business case, roadmap planning, headcount planning, budget planning and reconciliation, vendor management, purchase order and invoicing management
. Participate in hiring, interviewing, onboarding, mentoring, reviews, career discussions, annual reviews, performance reviews and feedback discussions for team
. You will design and develop Enablement solutions across a variety of mediums (e.g., in-person, virtual, eLearning, videos, on-the-job support, management reinforcement & mentoring)
. You will establish & create assessment and evaluation strategies to measure and iterate on the efficacy and value of training initiatives
. Design and implement metrics to measure enablement programs and its impact, and effectiveness
. Review and manage existing content library to determine opportunities for improving the learning experience, and ensure that the content is current, relevant and leverages best tools and technology
. Leverage tools & technology for ease of adoption and scalability
. Invent and simplify by identifying productivity barriers
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
What you should have
. Program management skills is a must have
. People/team management skills required
. Strategic thinker with demonstrated experience taking broad vision and developing structured plans, with measurable metrics and then executing those plans
. Should be highly proficient at building trust with senior level business development managers
. Excel in execution, establishing priorities and meeting swift deadlines in a rapidly changing environment
. Passionate about developing others
. Demonstrated success leading cross functional teams
. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
. Highly organized and proactive
Work Experience
. Minimum 3+ years of experience driving training/enablement and broader sales/Business development Enablement programs
. 5+ yrs program management experience
. Worked in a enterprise/technology company
. Atleast 12+ years of overall experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
. MBA from Tier 1 institute
. Leading a team of enablement professionals for a big technology company would be highly relevant for the role.
